Jason Wright - MCIOB
Managing Partner - Head of Built Environment

Jason has over 30-years of domain expertise in the built environment. His skills have been developed serving within substantial scale corporate operational management, including at  'C' suite level, as a contractor, client, consultant, and within his own ventures. Jason is an executive who has served on numerous company boards of operational, health and safety, governance, human resources, and training, as well as chairing innovation and sustainability boards. He is currently and has previously held non-executive positions with law firms and consultancies.

His experience internationally includes major property development with a focus on emerging markets, 'Mega Projects,' healthcare development, hospitality projects, exceptional quality high-end fit out, and modular and volumetric construction. He is a dispute resolution expert who has represented numerous clients in dispute resolution and dispute avoidance cases.

Jason began his professional career in quantity surveying before transitioning to project based positions, where he served as Project and Contract Manager before undertaking wider business roles in Operational Management. Jason's career is focused internationally where he attained Vice President and board level roles. 

Jason is a person that strives for excellence in the job that he and the teams he works with deliver, while focusing on his clients needs.  He has driven the delivery of some of the most high-profile projects in the UAE and India such as Royal Palaces, Government and Ministerial Offices, Hospitals, Resorts, and Special Economic Zones (SEZs). His experience includes construction, infrastructure and facilities management in the UK, India, Middle East, and Africa. Jason is the Managing Partner of BEES, Built Environment Engineering Services, and oversees all the sectors operational delivery.

Heather Webb
Partner - Head of Business Solutions

Heather is a business professional with extensive international experience in the fields of consulting, publications, and marketing. Her background encompasses all aspects of business operations, including setup, promotions, sales and marketing, sourcing, procurement, and event management. Heather has created successful marketing strategies, campaigns, sponsorship opportunities, and specialized programs for prominent ruling families in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Thailand, as well as in the United Kingdom and the United States.

Heather has international attested expertise in the realm of sports, with domain expertise in all equestrian pursuits and events. She is a highly accomplished horse rider and specialized Arabian horse trainer with numerous National and International Championship titles to her name.

The education sector is a particular focus for Heather where she  has consulted for international organizations that provide special needs education. 

With over 30-years of experience of living in the United Arab Emirates and other GGC countries, Heather has a full understanding of local culture, heritage, and etiquette.

Heather provides guidance to companies, including BEES, about how their organizations should be directed, managed, and controlled. As the head of corporate governance, she is responsible for making sure the business conforms with all legal and regulatory standards as well as local etiquette, customs, and practices. Heather also manages all corporate communications.

Mark Forshaw MCInstCES 

Partner - Commercial,Contracts & Disputes

Mark is a Contract and Commercial Professional with 35-years experience in corporate and project positions, with over 25-years experience in the UAE and Southeast Asia. Mark has international experience in the construction industry with specialist domain expertise in contract administration, management, claim preparation, dispute resolution, and risk management. He has extensive experience in contract and commercial management, as well as exposure to major international projects in the fields of construction, civil engineering, petrochemical, wastewater, mechanical and electrical systems, and infrastructure development. 

Mark is an experienced Director of contracts and commercial departments within international construction and consultant companies with responsibility for business strategy, administration, business development, resourcing, risk management and profitability. 

He oversees all commercial, financial, and contractual functions on many major petrochemical projects, construction, and civil engineering projects such as hospitals, airports, 5* hotels, luxury high rise - 100+ floors - condominiums and commercial developments, expressways, roads and toll ways, bridges, and water treatment plants under Design & Build, EPC, BOT, and Joint Venture Agreements.

Mark is experienced in leading and directing company strategies and client liaison and is an expert with the terms and conditions of FIDIC and NEC forms of construction contract and the preparation of and defense against contract claims, the effective negotiation and settlement of such claims and participation in arbitration / litigation proceedings.

Peter Lalor

Peter is a highly experienced international executive with domain expertise in corporate strategy, governance, financial, legal, and commercial management across multiple countries and cultures.

Peter’s career encompasses working in groups and businesses delivering major regional and international infrastructure, real estate, construction, diversified investments, engineering, retail, and manufacturing. His core competencies include successfully implementing large-scale corporate restructuring, identifying, planning, and implementing M&A projects - including de-mergers - negotiating local and international finance for development and major capital investment projects and negotiating local and international finance for development and major capital investment projects. 

With a wealth of experience implementing and managing Corporate Governance, Peter assists businesses in navigating these challenges. He has developed cross-border working skills, as well as the ability to propose creative solutions for consideration, which review, assess, identify, and manage governance risk. Peter has extensive experience working with businesses around the world to plan, prepare, and implement customized programs that identify, log, and manage all aspects of reputational and operational risk at all stages of the business process.

Peter has extensive experience managing large scale international JV projects, international tax planning, in-house treasury functions and managing high level relationships with commercial banks and investors. He manages discipline group functions such as finance, procurement, IT, HR, and payroll departments across multiple locations, and substantial planning and preparations for IPO's.

Gary King BSc
Corporate Consultant 
& Corporate Strategic Advisor

Gary is a trusted and retained strategic advisor to government entities as well as some of the world's largest financial institutions, risk management, security, and energy companies focusing on natural resources and commodities. 

He has extensive international experience in the commodities sector, having served as CEO and Senior Executive in exploration, commodities, and forex trading, as well as overseeing and driving direct investments in physical natural resources and commodities as an asset manager. He has held international senior executive positions in the commodities sector with Macquarie Bank, Morgan Stanley, and Standard Bank of South Africa in Dubai and Singapore. He has overseen, managed, traded, and managed investments in the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, and Asia. 

Gary was co-founder of the Middle East's first private equity funds focused on natural resources, as well as one of the first companies licensed in the Dubai International Financial Centre ('DIFC') and chosen as the founding CEO of several Government of Dubai strategic initiatives in natural resources and commodities, including the Dubai Mercantile Exchange ('DME') and Dubai Natural Resources World ('DNRW'), the world's first sovereign investment fund focused on natural resources. He worked for Emirates National Oil Company ('ENOC') as General Manager, Risk Management, and Strategic Advisor to the Group CEO, as well as Managing Director of its upstream oil production and trading subsidiary Dragon Oil Plc. 

Gary developed, implemented, and managed the Caspian Crude Oil Swap Mechanism between Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Iran during his time at ENOC and Dragon Oil. DME's flagship, the Oman Sour crude oil contract, is a physically delivered contract that is now recognized as the world's largest physically delivered futures contract and a pricing benchmark for Middle East crude oil, including Dubai and Oman.

Kevin Manly AIPM  Planning & Project Controls

Kevin has over 25-years experience working on building and engineering projects in Australia, North Africa, Asia, and throughout the Middle East.

He has developed over his career domain expertise in Project and Engineering Management, Project Controls, Forensic Planner and Delay Analysis, and Cost and Budget Analysis. 

Kevin’s career has afforded him the expertise gained in the roles he has performed including Programme Manager, Engineering Manager and Planning and Controls Manager for international contractors on various large-scale building and civil engineering projects including mixed-use developments, hospitals, airports, and coal loading jetties. Other experience includes coal fired, geo-thermal, and hydro powered power plants, railways, roads and highways and petrochemical projects. 

Kevin is a practitioner of Primavera Project Management Software tools including P3 and P6 and experienced in the use of Microsoft planning tools.  Kevin provides expertise in both pre and post contract elements of a project where he supports the BEES Built Environment team in project management, planning and programming of construction works, cost/budget analysis, progress monitoring and reporting. 

He has in-depth experience  in the preparation and presentation of forensic and delay analysis of programs, the compilation, analysis and preparation of contract claims and the negotiation of claims both at principal contract and subcontract levels. 

Within his planning role, Kevin provides a key focal point in the management of risk (opportunities and threats), especially with the identification of potential conflicts, which may have the potential to formulate into disputes. Kevin provides the construction management and project management teams an early warning service to program related risks, conflicts and the potential for disputes.

 Anil Sivasankaran BEng PMP Senior Project Manager

Anil has 25-years experience as a contractor, consultant, project manager, and commercial manager. He has extensive experience with MEP projects completing large complex MEP projects across the UAE. 

Anil is a Senior Project/Construction Manager who is initiative-taking and focused, he has extensive project delivery experience, from initial concept to commissioning and operational handover. 

Anil has practical and detailed expertise in the delivery of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), be this modular or volumetric. He recently led a two phased (factory off-site and on-site) team for the design, supply, delivery and commissioning of volumetric construction healthcare clinics and a multi-site role out program for medical clinics in the UAE. 

He is well-versed in the aspects of ensuring a project's-controlled delivery, in terms of cost and commercial compliance. Anil's project management and commercial skills have allowed him to lead projects while also overseeing monthly progress payment claims, variation order certification, review and approval of subcontractor invoices, procurement requisitions, and monthly financial reports and forecasts. 

Anil has direct experience with both Primavera and Microsoft Project planning software and is an expert practitioner of Microsoft Excel, office, teams and Sharepoint.

Shibu Sasidharan
Leading MEP Engineer & Head of Commissioning

Shibu has 25-years of experience working as both a contractor and a consultant, providing first-hand directive management input and control on initial concept design, detailed design inspection and review, onsite supervision and installation compliance monitoring, and facility commissioning and operations. 

Shibu has extensive experience in the three primary design elements of concept, function, and application, as well as system process and flows and site installation work. He has completed two major UAE hospitals as lead design engineer and lead for MEP supervision of installation, inspections, and commissioning. 

Shibu specializes in LV and ELV design, approval submission and liaison with statutory authorities, value engineering services, and MEP cost and claims analysis. He is a proponent of off-site construction element manufacturing and has led teams of inspectors in separate factories checking and monitoring off-site modular construction. He has a keen eye for detail and the ability to ensure that teams work in a precise, productive, and efficient manner while successfully completing all his projects.

Shibu has led teams for the delivery of MEP services (client side) for two major hospitals in the UAE; Al Jalila Childrens Specialty Hospital and the Fakeeh University Hospital, both located in Dubai. 

Shibu leads the BEES team in the planning and execution of building services commissioning. This service can be provided as an independent service under the Facilities Management function within BEES.
